Shikata Ga Naï

Shikata Ga Naï

Is it true that we cannot control all things and things simply are what they are?

Are there times when we believe this or can accept this, or are there times when we step back, and take a look from another position all together?

How many times have we felt stuck and tried to get out of the bog only to dig ourselves in deeper, to discover later that where we were placing our attention to become unstuck, was not actually the place that was the cause of our challenge after all.

How many times have we not simply given the space for something to be and perhaps show us more than we felt possible.

And perhaps even show us that what seems to present as a problem; is simply an opportunity in the making, something that is not yet written and is a blank canvas awaiting an original creation.

The saying “What you see is what you get” may hold a light of truth to it, perhaps its about choosing what we see to contribute to what we get.
